Sources: Suns offered Eric Bledsoe 4-year, $48 million contract. Bledsoe wants max of 5 years, $80 million. Sides far apart
They offered Bledose less than Gordon. I don't blame him for asking for more.

Agreed, I think the Heat are probably going to go after him. I don't know if they've officially signed Wade or Bosh, so they could sign Bledsoe first (well Wade's cap hold may be more than his new salary).
ETA:
Bosh
McRoberts
Deng
Wade
Bledsoe
That would be pretty scary for the East

Maybe a stretch, but that could be a better lineup than what had they with LeBron this past season. They will spread the ball a hell of a whole lot better. The reason the Spurs won is that they could effectively spread the ball. That's a great back court and not a bad front. I agree, they could be very dangerous in the East.

It's a weird lineup. The spacing would have to come from the frontcourt. Bledsoe shot 35.7% from 3 last season, Wade 28%, and Deng 30%. And if Bosh is one of your main spacers, then they'll be even worse rebounding than they were last year.

It's weird, but it has plenty of talent. They'd give LeBron and the Cavs a run for their money.

That wasn't the wine talking, Bledsoe to the Heat would be good for us. 4 teams stood between us and the 8 seed, Denver and Dallas got better, but Minnesota and possibly Phoenix are about to get worse. When all is said and done LeBron to Cleveland could end up weakening 4 teams ahead of us, Minny, Phoenix, Houston and Golden State.

That would be a nice bounce back for the Heat after losing LeBron.

That's with Shabazz, Chalmers, Cole and Haslem on the bench. That's actually a really good team in the East if they can resign another big like Birdman or if Odem comes along.

They re-signed Birdman a few days ago, should be an interesting team. I don't know their cap space, but if I'm Miami, I'd make a run at Monroe before Bledsoe.

I wouldn't. They're one Wade injury away from having the worst backcourt in the NBA.

Yea, I'd rather a future of Bledsoe and Bosh over Monroe and Bosh. I haven't seen anyone show what their cap number is currently. I don't think that the Bosh, Wade, and Deng contracts are on the books.

True, and you do have to take Wade's injury history into consideration, but they're going to be terrible on the glass, and defensively if they are starting McRoberts/Bosh. I know Monroe isn't a defensive machine, but it does allow Bosh to play more of a natural position for him.

Where does Miami have the cap space to throw any money at Bledsoe though? They're looking at $59 in salary if Bosh gets $20 per year.
