The last part of the clue is "tomorrow".

It's Green for a Morrow S&T. At least that's what Aced is trying to say.
give me some knowledge on green. I am not familiar with him outside of looking at his stats on espn. how big of a get would this be? decent stop gap? legit starter?

C'mon - its not Gerald Green. I said the SF issue hasn't been solved yet and that this was a small transaction. I can't let you guys get all excited. Sorry, had to stop it.

And if Phoenix waits to do this once they are capped out, they can have Morrow for a deal starting around $5 million in year one by shipping Green here? Win-win.

Half season wonder. He is athletic and hit 3s at a decent rate. Basically had one foot out of the league and was a throw away in a trade to Phoenix and he flourished in their system. It will be really hard for Monty to keep the pace down the way the roster is looking.

He is being ridiculous if he thinks he can put the cat back in the bag. His clue was not as tricky as he thought.

We can't sign and trade Morrow with the MLE and I don't think he has Bird Rights so any S&T we do with him would be pretty low dollar I think.

The Heat kept Bird Rights on the Big 3 even though they opted out, right?

Right, but to have Bird Rights in the first place you have to be on the same contract for 3 years. If you let your contract expire and then sign with a new team your Bird Rights clock starts over. I don't have time to go dig it up in the CBAfaq right now but I think we'd be limited to some arbitrary amount above his last salary, like 175% of $1.1 million which is under $2 million.

He's a huge attention whore. He won't be off twitter long, bet.

And it's Hopson. Not the final move at SF

The initial set up did seem to point to an expiring contract and specifically not the answer at SF. Still Gerald Green is an intriguing option. He might be available if we can find anyone to do a S&T of our other FAs.
