I don't think stretch and buyout are the same thing here. They'd likely want to keep the cap hit on the books to hit the cap floor. The point of the buyout is to save a few million by getting Crawford to take less than owed to allow him to go play for a contender.

Him going to Miami over Boston is just bizarre to me. Boston will be a competitor for a long while. Miami...not so much.

If we sign Nick Young, will he be the first pure shooter that we've had since Rasual?

I don't consider Ryno a "pure" shooter. He did much more

I'd be more inclined to include Moore in a Bledsoe trade

why? i'd be more inclined to have a backcourt rotation of Holiday/Bledsoe/Moore/Young

The staggering potential is contender worthy there. No more losing leads with bench units, your bench units might be where you have the biggest usable advantage.

its a given that Holiday/Bledsoe/Moore/Young is better than just Holiday/Bledsoe/Young but if the Suns want Moore in the deal for Bledsoe. If Phoenix doesn't want to include Moore, then perfect. Trade for Bledsoe, keep Moore, and sign Young and we can all be happy. But if we miss out on Young, and Phoenix wants Moore, I don't think I can do it. It would leave us with a rotation of Holiday/Bledsoe/Crawford/Cook

Maybe I could justify it if Jamal Crawford signed with us but idk what his price will be

1) QPon + Moore + Ajinca + two 1st rounder picks = Eric Bledsoe

Ajinca + QPon + Toupane + two firsts

Not giving them Moore and two firsts, unless they are taking Moore + Asik + two firsts.

ETA: If they would take Moore + Asik + two firsts it could be structured as two separate trades (Moore + Toupane + first for Bledsoe and then Asik + a first for a fake second to create a 10.5 mil TPE).

Two first round picks for an injury prone guard that can score should be plenty with asik included.

Hawks expected to buy out Jamal Crawford, but nothing done yet. Warriors, Cavs, Wizards, Lakers, Pels expected to show interest in Crawford.

I think Jordan Crawford > Jamal Crawford, but being next in line for Golden State's leftovers is a step up in Free Agency status, no?

We won't even be able to recognize teams next season. I've never seen so much movement during an offseason

Why do I have a feeling that he's using us to get more money from the teams he actually wants to sign with?
