That's been Chad's stance over this entire 2 year span

we have overhauled the entire front office and now have completed the new direction with a new head coach.

its sort of a part of the obligation of being a fan to have fun in hope moving forward. if you can't do that to some degree, then i don't see the point of being a fan.

We traded Dyson to win now. We were 1000% NOT rebuilding these past 2 seasons.

There's nothing wrong with being a fan of a team and also being a realistic about that team.

That's fine if you feel that way. There were reports that Mosley was their #1 guy if he became available and that's how it played out. If he was Dumars wanted Mosley, he's going to cave to any leverage Mosley has.

It wasn't here's an offer. Take it or leave it. It was more in line with a what would it take to get you to sign the dotted line.

I would prefer Tom Thibodeau tbh.
He´'s a very good coach for rebuild teams.

its not a come back. its the truth. people have gone way tooo tooo far on the negative fricking swing of emotions. So its clear, none of you like anything to do with the pelicans organization... so move along. No need to sit here and type your bleeding vagina repetitive thoughts every time the sun rises.
Where have you been for the last 25 years with the Hornets/Pels? You only started posting Pels crap when they had such bad seasons to troll the actual fans. Just like you have done for years on the Saints boards.

Right. So sure, you're correct, that IS leverage...IF Mosley is your only option, and you're not willing to look at other guys if you can't get a deal that works for this franchise and you're willing to put Mosley ahead of what's best for the franchise.

If he's your buddy and he's been the guy you've been looking at since Nov, and once he was fired, you knew all along he was the guy you were hiring no matter what, then yes, that is leverage.

That should be causing major red flags to go off right now.

You're really comparing a 20 year old with one year in the league to all the film we have on Paolo?

you keep getting better.

i was extremely posi saints last offseason as well. many were shitting their pants during the head coach search etc. glad you brought that up too.

pelicans have a tough hill to climb. no doubt. but i've said many and many of times over that it has a lot to do with the nba is a fricking rigged league with many shenanigans behind the scenes with spoiled stars running the show to large degrees. it doesn't make it easier for organizations like the pels to quickly turn things around when stars act like bitches at even the thought of coming here.

you have that backwards dude. It is the obligation of the team to manage its way to providing a reason for that hope. There is nothing fun about this team and there hasn’t been for years.

am I still a fan? Of course, they are the only NBA team that I am aware of in New Orleans. But I would absolutely swap rosters, front offices, owners and coaches with any other team in the league right now…no exceptions

after AD the pelicans could have made zero trades, zero free agent signings, zero moves at all and just drafted their slotted picks and would be dramatically better off than they are now

“quickly turn things around”?
terrible decisions lead to terrible outcomes. Incompetence is how they got here not conspiracy

we hardly ever had coaches that showed much desire to develop young talent. lets hope mosley does that for us.
