What are you even saying! He's as close to a top 15 coach than anyone else available for us to hire.

What makes a top 15 coach?

only low iq people would say such things. I don't have many strong opinions about the pelicans other than the doom and gloom negativity is both unproductive and pretty childish most of the time. There's a lot of sheep allowing their brains to get polluted by a very small pool of pelican media type influencers.
That's always your come back. Your reputation precedes you. Everyone know who the low IQ troll is on these boards.

His leverage is his current contract with Orlando. He's getting paid for the next two years regardless so he doesn't have to take a job now. Right or wrong, he had the leverage in the negotiation and Dumars was happy to comply to get his guy.

I believe that this is the hire before THE HIRE.

Doug Collins set the table in Chicago for Phil Jackson.
Bill Fitch set the table in Houston for Rudy T.
Del Harris set the table in LA for Phil Jackson.
Mark Jackson set the table at Golden State for Steve Kerr.
Thibs set the table in NY for Mike Brown.

and, perhaps....

Darvin Ham set the table in LA for JJ (TBD)

If Mosely does nothing else but install a 'real, functioning, effective' Defense to this team, it will be a successful hire and the team will be vastly improved.

DEFENSE!!! DEFENSE!!! DEFENSE!!!

its not a come back. its the truth. people have gone way tooo tooo far on the negative fricking swing of emotions. So its clear, none of you like anything to do with the pelicans organization... so move along. No need to sit here and type your bleeding vagina repetitive thoughts every time the sun rises.

That should give him zero leverage over the Pels.

Cool, then don't take the job now.

We're using the term "leverage" in a situation where it only works if the Pels HAVE to hire this guy, which they did not.

Pels leverage should have been moving on to the next candidate if he wouldn't take anything less than 5 years. But as we know, the Pels had this in the works since November, so he could get whatever he wanted because he was the only coach we really wanted.

Right or wrong, he had the leverage in the negotiation
He really didn't, unless you assume the Pels could not walk away.

Never siad there's a coach currently in the top 15 who is available, hence the point where I said you whiffed on what I actually said.

You whiffed again.

That's been Chad's stance over this entire 2 year span where we've won less than 50 games.

And Gayle is not cheap either, that too!!!
