McNamara sucks so bad. Dude is so clueless. I wish he'd sign up here to defend his baseless opinions
So glad im not the only person. He's so fricking arrogant.

This is the same guy that spent the whole offseason last year shitting on people for liking Lillard and telling everybody how awesome Austin Rivers would be

Well since most people consider McNamara an idiot, its probably not something you should be glad about

Michael McNamara ?@McNamara247 14m Shabazz Muhammad (6th pick) and Robin Lopez for Eric Bledsoe. Could see both teams doing that. I would be thrilled personally

I guess the only good thing about Smart staying in school is that the Pelicans won't take him. I don't like him at all as a prospect. He's not skilled and not very athletic. He's an "intangibles guy." Every team needs the Battier-types but not with top 5 picks

Well, I don't know who the guy is, but to me, that's a very smart thing to do. Trade for a starter. None of these guys are difference makers. Trade the pick.

Passing up guaranteed millions and risking career ending injury while playing for free is dumb as shite.

So much more to it than just passing up the $$. Like improving and growing up a little more. He has great potential, but there wasn't any real production and def was not efficient as people thought he could be. Barely shot 40% and was a 29% from 3. Sure, he could get hurt. But he will improve by coming back. But everyone in this draft could be hurt at a workout or practice. It's the risk of being an athlete. Can't worry about it.

I mean Porter, Oladipo, Burke, MCW all returned after their freshman year and all drastically improved. If Smart can improve half as much as those others did, he will still be a top 5 player.

Nerlens got hurt in college, he's not going to miss out on any $$.

This is the kids decision and I don't think it's a dumb move at all.

O and eyeryan, Smart is extremely athletic. Had trouble translating it to his game this past year, but he has a very athletic guy with great size for a guard. I think Smart will be very improved next year and still a top 5 guy.

Well it'd be great if we could get a starter for that pick. No one will make that trade for the 6th pick in a weak draft (now even weaker without Smart)
