I was really impressed with the overall play. This is a much better team than I originally thought they would be. Zion and Lonzo working good together.

Zion needs to touch the ball a lot more. He’s playing like the fourth option out there when he should be the first option.

I thought they used him perfectly last night. He got plenty of pts and REBs, and Memphis was spread way thin.

I think they are lightening the pressure on Zion by having him as the 3rd option or so. Even though he's obviously a superstar

Why, he got 22 and 8(?) as a fourth option.

And he made it look easy. Ride that train for as long as you can. You're going to need more than one guy anyway.

THIS is the team they built and all the people shutting on Griffin early on were funny.

Dude built a good team
Melli was an under rated pickup for 4 mil

Gotta give him some major credit but I doubt even he expected BI to improve his efficiency from one season to the next at basically an all time historic level.

That said, it does make me rethink our timeline a bit, and with Kobe’s passing, more than ever I think AD/Lebron stick around for a good bit. It might bee sooner rather than later we want to cash those chips in less we turn into the Celtics. Selling off second rounders and picking stash players because you just don’t have the space, paralyzing yourself with the thought of the unknown mystery of the draft instead of cashing them in for a star or two now.

We have stars on the roster in Zion, BI, and potentially Zo. shite, Hayes May develop into a star too. Let them grow and rely on your scouting department to turn those picks into productive bench guys and a diamond in the rough legit stud every now and again.

The Pels beating the Lakers in the first round is going to break them. AD won't be able to handle that.

To deny this moment isn’t life altering would be insane.

If the team continues to win and come close, I can’t see AD walking away as easily as before.

It’s all personal speculation but I do think either way, I am more and more open to selling some of those picks to bring back a superstar than I have been. And that given the way top 25 players tend to retain their value, might be the wiser investment than the uncertainty of draft picks.

Man I want this to happen so bad. LA would experience its own Katrina from so many fanboy tears. Would also be the ultimate payback after the Nola no call.
