Cliffs: people saying Zion wants out are full of shite!

Stop listening to people who say they are getting info from Zion's camp.

There are only 4 people in Zion's camp. Him, mother, brother and Zion! If you didn't hear it from one of them it's not true!

Well pretty clear we know where Jordy got the info regarding the dunk video.

What about the baseball player saying Zion was doing 5 on 5, he had Culotta ties too, right?

I think he is part of Jordy's podcast network right?

That dunk video was a week and a half ago? It feels like forever. This has been a crazy week with crushing the Lakers and all.

You really have to love the trajectory of this team. It's funny how we are trending up and the teams we thought we front-runners for Zion are trending down.

I believe he was cleared for 1 on 1 on March 23. So we are 14 days or so into that.

Last time he did 10 days, was about to be cleared for 5 on 5, and then...not so fast.

If this interview is from today or yesterday then it sounds like he went further than last time without a setback unless Lee Anderson is lying about thinking Zion can still play this season.

It sounds like it is more of a goal of theirs than a reality. I appreciate them going for it, as long as he doesn't have another setback.

@CulottaShow
asked Lee Anderson is he expects Zion to play: “Do I expect him to play? That’s a tough question. Do I expect him to play? I expect him to play. If you were to ask Zion, I’m sure he would probably say the same thing."

Seems very tempered to me.

Jake isn't having it, for instance.

2) He's confused about why there are bad vibes in Nola around Zion? Maybe because Zion hasn't done anything to clear it up. He still hasn't spoken to the media since Media Day in September

3) Doing some damage control now doesn't change what has happened. Zion disappeared to Portland because of a lack of trust with the Pels medical staff

And maybe that is fair. Getting 2nd opinions isn't a bad thing.

But communicate it!

4) You can plainly hear the divide between Zion's "camp" and the team about him returning to play. Lee Anderson makes it seem as if Zion is ready to go.

If the team disagrees how does this all play out?

He also was asked directly about where he's at in the rehab, 3 on 3, 5 on 5, and he completely ignored the question and answered something else. Maybe it's because he's ready and we get a surprise announcement Thursday morning, but I think it's more likely he's not as far along as Zion needs to be to match up to the hope of playing.

I don't care if he plays or not, I care more about his long term health. But I do hope the team lives up to any promises it made to him, like if they said if he passes these test he can play and they play him. It would be a shame to ruin the seeming return to happiness because Griff said something he didn't mean because he thought he could run out the clock.

I like this. I like the change in messaging. It does leave room for optimism going forward.
