Woj said Beal is eligible for a 3 yr 111 mill extension in July & the Wiz are ok with paying that extension. They don't seem willing to part with Beal.

Well if Beal is out, I offer the 4 for Turner in some fashion.
If that’s declined, I grab Garland at 4 and address big men in FA

I know this isnt happening but if Beal is out, then Indiana says no to Turner, I'd turn to the Hawks & take them up on #8 and #10

Hayes at 10 - Turner-like potential
& one of Hunter/White/Culver will be there at 8

I just don’t think we are taking Garland. I’d love to be proven wrong

But I get the sense we don’t really want the 4th pick and there’s not a player our FO loves outside of Barrett, Ja or Zion

That’s if you believe Hawks want Reddish.
I’m not convinced. Especially giving up those two picks to get him

Hayes had 9 assist for the whole year.
You ok with that?

even if neither of those 3 are available, I'd take Hayes & a flyer on Sekou or Goga or Romeo Langford

That’s my thoughts to Deion. I want Beal first, then Turner and 18, than either dump Solo to Atlanta for 8, 10, and Nets 2020 1st. Still want Niko in FA in any deal.

Don’t want Hayes. Very much would like Sekou though

why don't you want Hayes? he's the prototypical big in today's NBA. he has to gain a little weight & work on his shot, but he has solid form.

and he's a defensive stalwart

No but year after year the top teams have the best ball movement. 9 assists for a whole season is an alarming stat to me. Doesn’t mean Hayes won’t do well in the NBA...

why draft a center who can’t rebound?

It isn't logical to think that the best center in the draft somehow isn't worth the #10 pick.
