Guess the PMT boys have to fill some time with no sports on.

On if a "prime" Lavar Ball could take Zion one on one:

"Stop it, I'd murder that boy, he is too soft, he's too small, he's too slow, me in my prime, I'd murder him, I was too fast, too strong."

Is Lavar a former All Star and I just didn't realize it?

*Searches for Lavar Ball on Basketball-Reference - gets redirected to their college site*

Lavar played one year at Washington State and averaged 2.2 points per game

Meanwhile, the guy with one of the greatest statistical college seasons of all time, averaging 20+ points a game as a rookie in just 20ish games in the NBA...would be too small and too slow.

Lavar is a special guy.

I don't think anyone thinks its a big deal. Its humorous and kind of sad, but no one thinks its a big deal

Lavar doesn't bother me anymore. The idiot media bothers me.

If someone asked me if i could beat Zion one on one, you better believe i'd say "yeah, i'd whip his arse". Can't beat anyone if you have the mentality that you can't beat them. I would never admit defeat to anyone on this planet until they actually beat me.

A similar yet not similar thing happened to me in high school.
Instead of Zion, it was Brandon Jacobs.
He caught the ball in the same area, did the same spin, except when he spun and went to go up for the dunk, i grabbed his arm forcefully with both hands. I was intent on him not dunking it.
So instead of stopping him from dunking it, i went for a ride as he brought me up hanging onto his arm and threw it down almost breaking the goal he dunked it so hard.
Without a doubt the most embarrassed i've ever felt on the court in my life.

I did have a redemption moment later in life blocking Clearance Moore at the rim, then went down and laid it up over him for an and 1 as he fouled the shite out of me. THis was a few years after he finished up at Ga Tech.

nah. you gotta be confident. i'm not an idiot. I know i'd lose 99xs out of 100, if not more, but i'm not going to go into it with a losers mindset, that's for sure.

LaVar Ball is an old head.

Old heads never admit they are wrong & are the best at everything.

They expect us to know they are full of shite, but don’t like to be challenged.

The interview was hilarious. You could tell he was just bullshitting. He had a lot of praise for Pelicans coaches trusting Lonzo

I sorta respect that he knows no one can test this and that he can say whatever he wants

Although he once explained how he would beat MJ, and it consistented of backing him down and calling fouls when he tried to reach in or something like that. Which makes me think HE believes it, and it is the softest shite i've ever heard.
