Haliburton made the right read every time down the floor. We blitzed him and he found Siakam.

Meanwhile, we continue to let CJ and Ingram dribble around one on one and take bad shots.

The one time Zion did get the ball it didn't work either but at least he was going to the basket.

I'm not sure point Zion is the longterm solution because he just isn't a good enough ball handler but I know this much, it's our best offense.

CJ and Ingram at the close of games as lead ball hadler is AIDs.

CJ should never have the ball at the end of a game outside of catch and shoot.

Ingram either unless he's driving to the basket or passing.

If I see one more shitty off balance mid range I'm going to fricking puke. They never make them and it always starts a fast break for the other team.

How many great PGs are there in the league? Certainly not enough to go around. For the Pels purposes one of the Atlanta guards might be their only realistic options, and I'm not sure how great either is.

Maybe you can get a past his prime guy like CP3 or Lowry to do for the Pels what Rondo did for the Pels. But that's not a long term solution, and I'm not even sure you want either of those 2 starting at this point in their careers.

We just needed Naji not running point last night and it would have done wonders towards a W. Naji was awful last night.

I'll say it. I'd like to see CP3 come back to finish his career where it all started. Just one year.

You wouldn't hear an argument from me on that. I'd love that, even though i wouldn't expect him to play more than 40-50 games.

CP3 would also be the bad cop to CJs good cop regarding whipping Zion into shape. He doesn't mince words when it comes to winning. I'm just not sure how much this helps since it's still only a short term solution, and defensively could you play CJ and CP3 at the same time?

The reason CJ and Ingram take the shots in crunch time is because Zion can barely get up and down the floor by the end of the game. It starts with Z.

This! That dude is arse. Hustles yes, but talent and decision making NO. Plays too many minutes, hurts our team.

He's not the best player in the world by any means but you have a sharpshooter on the bench in Matt Ryan that can help spread the floor and give Z more driving lanes to end games but Willie refuses to play him. The FO needed to force his hand by trading Naji for a bag of peanuts at the deadline and refused to do it.

Willie needs to modernize his thinking. He's a great culture guy but he's blinded by those relationships.

This is 100% correct. Bith CJ and Ingram are poor ball handlers and look for their owns shots for the first 18 seconds of the shot clock. Late in games, when they do pass, it is the last resort . Those passes never set anyone up for an easy shot, and the receiver of the pass is almost always running away from the goal to catch the pass with under 6 seconds on the shot clock.

I've already discussed many times how point Zion should be a stopgap for our current lack of a point guard and situational in the future.
