Didn’t get to watch it live. Turned it off when it was like 89-45. Don’t even care to know what the final score is.

That might have been the ugliest basketball I’ve ever seen a professional team play. My god I’m so disappointed in this team. I don’t even know what to say I’m so frustrated but I need a break from this team. Tired of investing this much in a team that doesn’t care.

Man I bet Dinky was loving this game though. A team just jacking up threes non stop, not running plays, just shoot the three man. That’s about as ugly as basketball gets right there. Give me the least 3pt attempts per game in all of basketball as opposed to that crap. Ugh.

You’re saying an upgrade to Vanderbilt-who would start for the Pels and improve the interior defense doesn’t make us much better?

The Lakers have the #1 defense in the league since the trade deadline. AD is obviously the biggest factor but he’s not doing it alone.
The Lakers are 9-4 with Vanderbilt in the lineup.

But don't let that fool you, the Lakers have been outscored in the minutes Vanderbilt has been on the court.

Curious how does DLo factor into those lineups?

Of course Vanderbilt doesn’t make the Pels world beaters. But odds are he helps beat teams like Orlando.

Actually...I think the Pels biggest problem is on the defensive end. Shooting comes & goes & we shoot right near the bottom in total 3-pt shots taken per game (28th), but actually make them at a respectable 35.6% (League avg is 36%) We just sucked big time with our 3-pt shooting tonight & made it worse by choosing tonight to take waaaay more than we normally do.

Defensively...we are the absolute BEST team at defending the 3-pt shot for this entire season at 33.9%...which is why it was so strange that Lakers hit so many 3s & scored 75 points in 1st half...mainly because of the 3-ball. BUT...We are right at the bottom in defending the 2-pt shots at 57.2% which makes total sense with Val guarding the rim.

Our offense comes & goes...our overall defense pretty much sux since most teams choose to just go inside & abuse us...constantly.

Not sure about D-Lo plus Vanderbilt but D-Lo alone is +11 on the court in 6 games with the Lakers, not counting tonight's game.

It is. We can’t protect the rim.

That’s my issue with the brain trust of this franchise.

You know Jonas is getting torched. You know we have trouble switching (Jonas running out to cover the open shooter might as well be the image for the season).

The only way to play Jonas is to play through him, offensively. If you aren’t doing that, take him out.

Defensively the staff hasn’t made many adjustments.

This is a big problem that can’t be ignored.

No adjustments tactically or to the roster.

They bet on continuity and it worked early, but Ingram Nance and Zion all had early injuries. 11 games played together for the max players

What a waste of a season.
