Lance fricking Thomas started at center last night and we STILL won.

We'll have to tank harder to lose the last 5.

you have to remember who the hornets played last night and who we play in the last 5 games, though. 3 of the last 4 teams we play are battling for position in the playoffs. hornets won't win those games.

frick. We can't win more than one or two more games and we need Cleveland and Sac to win at least 2 more a piece.

aren't we one game "ahead" of them, so to speak? no way we win more than 1 game to close the season.

We still play Golden State who wants to stay at below the 7 pick so they keep it. So that could be a win.

Sac's schedule is brutal with only one winnable game: versus the Bobcats. So they will finish with 21 wins, absolutely no better.

Cleveland plays Washington and Detroit, both are winnable games. They also play Chicago, and Chicago MIGHT rest everyone (although even that might not matter).

So I expect them to have 21 or 22 wins.

We need to only win one more.

This.

I was listening to that third quarter on the radio. I'm not sure either team could play worse basketball than that if they were trying to.

Stern will rig the lottery for us...

Just like he did for the Knicks in 1985 to get Pat Ewing.

TANK SO HARD
This.

We don't have to have the worst record to draw #1, it's just luck of the draw, so hopefully it happens! There's a fair chance.

But we almost need Detroit to win that game so they can pass up the T-wolves. I think the GSW/Minny game is a toss up. So assuming the T-wolves beat GSW, we'll need Detroit to win 3 more (Minny, Toronto, and one other) to get them to 26 too.

Washington can score with Wall, so they might beat the Cavs too. The Cavs losing out is a real possibility. I agree with the Bulls/Cavs comments.
