I have matured. I didn’t say a word when the Saints were down 10-0 on Sunday or when Brees went down.

I’d like to THINK I would have said “let’s wait for the draft compensation”...but...

Yeah...

I started to think up a point by point response to him but figured it was better just to make fun of him instead.

I’m learning as well.

No. Bledsoe wasn't first team. He was second. He also has the lowest point total on the second team, right under Brook Lopez (yes Brook Lopez made the 2nd all defensive team). You know who just missed the cut? Kris Dunn for Chicago. So the Bulls are going to trade for Bledsoe when they can just make a QO to Dunn for 1/3 the money.. How much are they offering for this opportunity?

The Bucks could trade 2027 to us after the draft. Aka, pick for us tomorrow, and then complete the deal. Nothing beyond the next 7 drafts. 2021, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27

Yeah that’s what I thought. Deal is done after draft.

And pick swaps are NOT included in the Stepien rule.

So the swap could be in 2028 when Giannis is loooonnnnnggg gone.

I’m not sure I understand this deal for the bucks but whatever.
they could have and should have just kept brogdon

hill is a nice player and a leader.
remember popovich said he was his favorite player ever or something like that

let’s see what they do with Bledsoe but even before that this is a haul for a non star player. Cheers to jrue and his family and I hope they win it all

Oh sorry.

You know what Bledsoe did do?

Higher FG%, higher ft%

Slightly less ast and slightly less 3 pt %

.1 more ppg per 36

Bledsoe will fetch something. Chill

Can say confidently the Nuggets were stunned by New Orleans’ total haul.

Pelicans were never going to get close to that return with Denver.

Pelicans exploited Milwaukee’s fear of losing Giannis.

You know what means we got good value? Bucks fans think they overpaid DRASTICALLY

I think you should view the picks as capital to trade for a malcontent star when we feel we’re ready to contend

If you think the Pelicans will have a chance at a malcontent star you haven’t been paying attention. Players dictate where and when they want to be traded and I’ll tell you right now, it will never be New Orleans lol

I mean people were talking about getting a top 10 pick and a couple of young up and comers with high potential and instead we got Eric Bledsoe and George frickin hill lol. Whoever is saying they aren’t disappointed is lying

I'm sure Nets fans were saying this exact same thing two years ago. Who knows, Luka may get exhausted of the constant BJs cubes is giving him and may want to buy a house in Old Metry.

Yes, how can we compete when all these players want to get traded to freaking Milwaukee lol. Relax, we will be fine.

I was re-reading a thread from about a month ago where the whole group of guys on here shite on Bledsoe for about 3 pages and said they wouldn't want anything to do with him. But now its all good. Its all just spin.

I would have preferred a top 10 pick and a young player, but I don’t think the Pels are tangibly worse if we keep Bledsoe and he just takes Jrue’s place in the lineup. So, IMO, if we keep him we’re in the same spot, but we picked up a solid bench piece, 3 picks, and 2 swaps. If we trade Bledsoe for more capital, that’s even better.

there’s still scenarios out there for teams in the top 10 to trade out, pels can use Bledsoe as salary ballast and add a future pick to move up. If they are will to take a worse contract back (which they can easily do), two and three team trades are there to be made

and if they don’t, they don’t...they still got massive value for holiday just in the future picks
