As much as the offense during up and down play drives me nuts (offense that leads to jsmoove shooting 17 jumpers needs work) monty is pretty strong out of timeouts with his play calling.

This is my biggest complaint with the team. I get that the guy can shoot from mid-range with some consistency, but for God's sake why does the offense seem to revolve around him shooting jumpers

That was one of the biggest knocks on Monty as of last season. He has called some great sets.

After watching, I have to be that guy:

How the hell were Harden and Howard with the most standard alley oop in a Rockets LOSS #2 ahead of Jrue? If Kemba Walker and Al Jefferson connect for that same alley oop in a Bobcats WIN, the highlight probably doesn't even make Sportscenter.

I agree. I also go one further. Jrue's play was better than Duncan's. Jrue went into the lane with 3 seconds left in triple OT and made a great layup in traffic, with a bunch of contact.

Duncan nailed a last second wide open jumper in regulation. It's a great play, but it's the name that gets you the highlights. NBA players make spectacular plays every night. But it not matters if the media loves you.

We can all agree that jsmooth should never shoot 17 times a game and more like 8 times a game. let him take his good open shots, most nights he'll hit 5-6 which is PERFECT for what we need.

I rather get better movement and get our guards in a rhythm

Jason Smith's game is great off the bench. 18 minutes, 6-7 shots, a few rebounds, and a ton of heart/hustle plays.
