So you think AD is the first professional athlete that does not play in LA to buy a house there? Ignorance?

Name the active NBA players to own L.A. homes who aren't ex-Lakers, ex-Clippers, or are from L.A. No facts, just rabble rabble. Bored blind sheep rabble.

Is that the extent of this long list of players? KD, one of the top payed and endorsed players in the league. People one here insist everyone owns an L.A. home.

I don't like the idea of having Zion fly to L.A. to work out. The only player that has worked out with Jrue that's still on the team is Frank Jackson. All of Jrue's workout buddies seem to be malcontent ex-Pelicans. His workouts didn't keep AD on the team.

Zion hasn't even played a single game that counts and we already are operating from a "Zion is going to leave us!" mind set?

I mean, I get it. It's happened twice, for different reasons, but yeah. Twice.

But we never got the notion things wouldn't work out right away. If Jrue wants to hold workouts in Los Angeles, that's fine by me. Wherever it is. So long as virtually all the team is there.

We obviously need to get rid of Jrue before he leaves us for an L.A. team and takes everyone else with him. This "training camp" is clearly part of a conspiracy. Trade him now, before it's too late!

I'm not operating under this mindset. I expect Zion to be in New Orleans long term. I just want to avoid the L.A. circus. Jrue and AD's relationship gives me pause. They seem like best buds now.

Has Jrue even met Zion yet? Or does he avoid New Orleans in the off-season? It seems like he's personally vested in AD having a strong season for the Lakers. I don't recall Jrue and AD working out like this last off-season, when AD was a Pel.

The team better be 100% sure that Holiday has bought in for the long haul. He's a free agent after two seasons.

Dont really feel like looking it up, but one that comes to mind is D Wade

And as far as Brees JUST putting him home on the market

He is from Texas

Only played in SD for 5 years

Been playing in New Orleans for 13 years

He has hardly no ties to Southern California, he just enjoyed going there to train in the offseason, just like alot of other athletes do

I'm trying to take LouisianaJoseph's advice and you message me this? Really? D Wade?

I guess you don't realize his wife is Hollywood actress, Gabrielle Union. I'm done. Y'all win. Wow.

Matt Barnes provided a specific number: "Probably like 60 percent, 70 percent of the NBA is here. It just continues to grow for the simple fact: Who doesn't want to be in L.A.?"

Jesus, this is EXACTLY the kind of sophomoric bickering that at times makes this board too toxic to hang around.

A four-year-old article with Matt Barnes as its credible source. He's an L.A. fanatic. Harden, Ariza, Baron, and DeRozan are from Los Angeles. This was an L.A. promo peice.

KD is an exception and doesn’t count. DWades wife is an actress so he doesn’t count. Article on guys in LA is 4 years old- nope, doesn’t count. Can’t have played for either LA nba team. UCLA guys excluded. SoCal raised guys don’t count.

At some point you’re going to need to post where everyone you deem eligible lives.

Really don’t understand how someone can have so many posts with zero upvotes and multiple downvotes, yet still believe they are correct. Literally zero people agree with you. I really am starting to believe you might be nearing the edge of the spectrum

So Frank Jackson is the only player that has worked out with but getting all the other guys to work out together is a bad idea? Who cares about where it is and who cares about AD.

The point of the workouts isnt about keeping somebody on the team, its about chemistry.

My point of view is you don't send people from New Orleans to Los Angeles then want them to come back to New Orleans and be happy. That would be like your wife spending the night with me and then you expect her to be happy with you. Why not just keep her in your swamp and she might be happy with what she sees. Don't expose her to the best because she might not want to come back. Dumbfricks

You dumbasses are actually cheering for the first organized event with Zion to be to go to Los Angeles and train with Jrue. I got a bridge to sell you too.
