The bad thing is the flu strain this year has been extra nasty. I know lots of people that normally tough it out miss several days or more of work.

I feel like it hasn't been as bad lately.

Yeah, I was wondering if what's going around now is different than what was circulating in December and January. Let's hope so or he might miss the next 3 games.

Or they're sitting him against the worst team in a back to back to back.

I really hope that's it. Maybe they expect a good game out of Rondo fueled by spite for Carlisle.

We've been talking for weeks about how they'd manage this stretch. Whether or not they'd sit anyone. Well...

I'd be surprised if Rondo plays all 3 of these games also.

we've rested rondo twice and lost both times.

we've been over-cautious with AD once and it ended the best win streak of the AD era.

i'd have played jrue tonight at least 20 min or so. there was a decent chance of us just blowing them out early. now a must-win game became a little more challenging. don't like this at all.

then again, maybe he actually has the flu, in which case we are screwed the next couple games at least

We can beat Dallas without Jrue. Need him tomorrow though. He can lock up Oladipo

such a Pelicans thing to happen. I think we can still win but damn nothing comes easy. I fear for the guard play tonight

Maybe Jrue is out tonight because Rondo probably won’t go tomorrow.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Rondo sit either
