Hopefully he’s back to being all in. Never mad about a decent player that wants to be here.

Not to be an a-hole but I’m sure he’s more excited about the pay day than anything else. He wasn’t getting that money anywhere else

Ever since JJ Redick said his agents wouldn't frick with NOLA anymore, we've signed Graham and Hart who are CAA guys.

People act like we just handed Hart 12mil for no reason.

Seems very probable that there were teams looking to execute a sign and trade around that amount and we decided whatever was getting negotiated wasn’t better than just keeping Hart and paying him near that figure.

People melting over that contract but it’s not bad for what Hart has proven he can bring to a team. And by all accounts he is itching to work with Vinson to rebuild his shot

4% of $38m and $48m is alot more than the 4% a 37 year old shooter coming off one of his worst shooting seasons was going to make. Good call by them.

If he can fix his three point shot and get it up to 37-38% this year, he will easily be worth that contract.

Yea, he only got a 10m a year raise… he’d be happy to play for the LSUA Generals on that contract

Plenty of teams would take Hart on that contract.

yet none offered him it as a RFA so how true is that assumption

I’m sure he was offered an MLE type contract

13 is an overpay and you know it. I think he waited on a sign and trade and it never materialized.

Maybe I over value Hart but he just seems like the type of player that playoff caliber teams have coming off the bench. He provides grit and toughness and definitely can start for an extended period of time if someone like BI or Z goes down with an injury.

Folks love Naji bc of his intensity but Hart provides that too with just a much better overall game.
