We really missed this guy today. Jose has been playing big boy basketball in big boy games all year. Always finding a way to make an impact. He really makes that second unit go and probably doesn’t get enough credit. One of the most reliable backup PGs in the league if he can stay healthy.

This had the makings of a classic Jose game. Let’s get him ready for the playoffs.

We really missed BI tonight as well. We’re too young and inexperienced at times still. Sometimes you need a guy who can just go get buckets regardless of how crappy things are going. Take their second best player away, they don’t have anyone to defend Z.

There’s a level still for this team to hit. And everyone’s playing their arse off. Nervous but excited. This group has found a way this year.

Jose’s energy would have made a big difference today. He would have come in with a lead and helped maintain it. His minutes are almost always positive and he is sorely missed when he is out.

The gap between Naji/Jose and Dyson/Hawkins is pretty noticeable when you step up the pace of play and intensity level. We’re also seeing why Matt Ryan wasn’t a serious look for contending teams. He can’t be an answer in serious games.

Our inexperience destroyed us today.

BI would have attracted a lot of attention and created other options.
Plus he would have provided much needed scoring.
