people flipped out about his hand last week or whenever it was, and it turned out that they made him sit out.

same with the back 2 backs. that's not his decision according to McNamara.

shite Fletcher mackel fired up his blog the night it was announced he was sitting because of his hand, bashing the shite out of him about how he decided not to play, and the next day it came out that the team forced him to sit.

Of course, no apology from him. But as big of a douchebag he is, he has a voice, and it kind of sucks it has to be like that.

but would people be so worried about all these minor issues (and they pile up) if it weren't for his previous actions, comments, etc.?

...the phoenix comments were a while ago, but that's what REALLY destroyed his relationship with the media and fans, imo.

i guess the media is causing it more now, or at least making it worse, but Gordon started it all.

To me, you don't just trade him to get rid of him, but you don't have to get the most possible value imaginable. You can get acceptable value that has the potential to rival Gordon's potential net effect, taking games missed into account.

I'm not sure the Warriors deal gets this if it lacks Barnes.

well, Klay Thompson has been the most alluring, at least to me. As far as the guys that are being mentioned

-jennings
-ellis
-granger

i think those 3 would set us back big time

i agree, but it seems like teams are already worried about his health...i don't know if his value will ever get any better.

if we can get a pretty good deal in return with, like you said, healthy solid players, we should do it.

I'm not as enamored with Klay as the some seem to be, but I'm curious. I've got bigger hopes for him than Aminu, and they share some key stats (and I'm noting here that stats aren't everything).

I'm WAY against Ellis, can deal with Granger in the right deal AS a near-expiring `asset', and am intrigued by Jennings . . . probably like you and Klay.

The only real strong feelings I have is the No Ellis thing and the BarnesBarnesBarnes thing. I can be convinced either way pretty easily on the rest of the cats in the this subconversation.
