Can't fricking wait for him to get traded/released.

Dude will be scrapping for a minimum contract somewhere at this rate.

Javale McGee showed enough to get a $10 million per year 2nd contract, but that was 2012-13, a different era in terms of teams needing centers. Outside of that he's been barely above the minimum.

We aren't trading Jax for picks, it will be for a similarly disappointing player. Think a Demps special. Hopefully he left his notes behind for those because that was one thing he was really good at.

Yeah the dream scenario at this point would be pulling off a Julian Wright for Belineli type deal.

Just not sure there exists one out there?

Hopefully I’m wrong though.

Andre Drummond is an infinitely better basketball player than Hayes and he's on a minimum deal. Jaxson's a bad player at the least in-demand position in the league. He won't be around long.

My guess is he ends up a throw-in, in a deal for the quasi-all star we'll eventually try to add. Will literally just be a team kicking the tires for what's left of his rookie deal.

If Jaxson manages to stay in the league, it will be as an off the bench energy big on a good team, that doesn't actually need his production. He goes to a team like the Warriors or Suns, catches some lobs, blocks some shots, national guys claim he's finally found his niche in the league. But in reality he only succeeds in those spots because they won't actually depend on his production. They'd lose nothing if he wasn't there. Its literally the Javale path.

Wild to shoot that poorly but still finish with seconds beat +/- on the winning team.

Really? You’re going with Satoransky as the best player tonight?

I love it.

If the bet was Jaxson Hayes becoming a NBA starter at some point in his career versus not, I would bet the not!

Yeah he’s the definition of having all the physical tools to be successful but lacks the mental makeup. He lacks the maturity and Basketball IQ to be successful. He plays like an extremely athletic chicken with his head cut off.

It was pretty clear last night that Jax just doesn’t know what he’s doing which is sad at this point. Watching Jonas and billy makes that abundantly clear. We should probably look to draft an experienced big who knows how to do the basics next year in the 2nd round to replace Jax.

I mean, he's not worth anything in a trade, and if we trade him, then we'll need someone else to be our third-string center.

If we can upgrade him, sure, trade him. Or if we can use his salary in a bigger trade. But I don't see dumping him as a priority.
