Boston did indeed sat on a bunch of draft picks with Ainge for a long time. They finally got over the hump once they got rid of Ainge and his pick hoarding tendencies.

Oh bullshite, those guys were major pieces for us and you know they were. That's all I was trying to say. When you have a guy like AD you need shooters around him and those guys got hurt. The fricking asik contract was dumb but not some death sentence you're making it out to be.

Add tyreke Evans to the list too. The pels were fricking injured as frick and we never saw that core healthy. fricking ever. When they were AD was hurt. But hey frick us Pels suck.

Then when we do finally fricking hit and have a squad with jrue AD and Boogie he tears his fricking Achilles. It's awful injury luck. Then AD wants to bounce.

The pels made a lot of big swings with AD here and actually hit with the boogie trade then his Achilles popped. frick you for thinking the org is just run like shite. Every org makes bad moves. The fricking celtics did for years after that 08 title.

The fact that you genuinely believe this with an "aw shucks" attitude is part of the overarching problem.

You genuinely believe the FO has largely made the right moves.

Wow.

Or maybe you can't read that I simply said that core was never healthy and boogie popped his Achilles.

The team of course made bad decisions. But to act like they didn't make good ones that got fricked by injury is disingenuous and you know it.

Or maybe I'm just pointing out that the celtics got incredibly lucky by hitting on b2b top 3 picks, which never happens
We've drafted 2 players that were better players at their peak than Tatum and Brown.

We've had incredible draft luck and absolutely nothing to show for it because we are a bottom 3-5 franchise over the past decade or 2.

They've made way more bad than good.

That is not even up for debate.

Dude is the PERFECT #3/4 option on a winning team. Doesn't need the ball to affect the game

The biggest what-if is honestly the Cousins-Davis-Holiday trio.

Yea. Not to fully defend Dell Demps, but I kind of think he wasn’t as bad as we think. Anthony Davis is a really hard guy to build a champion around in a tough western conference.

But the acquisition of holiday was a great trade by Demps, as was his acquisition of Cousins. His pivoting to mirotic after the injury was a great move.

For all his missteps, Demps put together a trio I believe could have won big in the NBA, but it imploded on him with Cousins’ Achilles.

And then we one-upped the difficulty factor by building around Zion

Sequels are often caricatures of the original.

What will really pain me is if the jrue holiday trades nets nothing for us when he was a really great asset that has netted rings for two successive teams.
