Needs to be signed long term ASAP. His quickness is what's going to help this offense in the longer run. I feel bad for him because he is doing everything to set the offense up and find the open man but nobody will pass to him on offense. Smith is not the best shooter but man can he dribble, pass and run an offense.

He can't be a primary piece because he cannot shoot. The defense just ignores him until he's 5 ft from the rim

For someone who was picked up off the street, he is impressive.

Huh?

His horrible shooting is why he'll always be a journeyman. The reason he can dribble around for 20 secs is because you don't have to guard him.

He's nice as and end of the bench option, but once Evans and Cole are back he won't see the court except for maybe a few minutes in those back to backs when Jrue sits.

I know it still doesn't mean you can't feel bad for the guy because he literally busts his arse on every possession. He deserves to shoot a little bit. I'm not saying give him 7-8 mill a year but if you could get him on. 3 year deal worth 12-14 mill id be 100% in.

For his penetration and willingness to unselfishly set the offense up I would give ish 3 years and 15 mill as a backup pg and I'm not saying he wouldn't get more $ on an open market..

This guy gives it all and his quickness is almost a double bonus. Sign me up long term before somebody else strikes at the end of the season.

Ish and AD looked amazing together in the second half - very in synch.

17 and 13 is pretty damn good and deserving of more than a few bench minutes.

And I've never seen any of our guards look like Ish/AD looked tonight.

Ish is like a smaller, more well mannered Rajon Rondo.

He's a good end of bench guy. Good ball handler, sub average shooter and bad defender
