I’ve checked the box score a few times to see how Ingram has played with them, but he has never been in the lineup. Has he played a game yet? And if not why?

Nope, he’s still injured. Shocking.

Now that he’s signed an extension with them they will hold him out the rest of this year so they preserve their tank to get a high draft pick to go with Ingram. It’s going to make me sick if they get the 2nd pick and take someone with star potential like Harper while we pick in the 4-6 range. We still could get a good player in that range but there’s a drop from Flagg and Harper.

Toronto’s schedule is way too weak for them to finish below us. But they could still get lucky with the ping pong balls and pick before us.

How would the league, and Ingram, go for this? Miss 4-5 months with an ankle sprain so your team can tank? That’s insane.

Because he gets paid for doing nothing and he has underlying medical issues they can use as an excuse.

Simmons just did the worst contracts and his new deal got voted top 10. It's crazy the Raptors gave him that contract. Huge leap of faith and he's a horrible fit on that team. We dodged a bullet, but handled that whole situation horribly..

That fact that we aren’t tanking is stupid

I mean Utah is sitting out guys who are healthy. Toronto is not playing starters in the 4th quarter of games to try and lose. Ingram at least has an injury designation they can hide behind. The league clearly doesn’t give a crap about teams tanking on purpose.

ingram and harper chucking 40 shots combined a game. that is surely a winning strategy.

See Utah. There has not been such a blatant tank job since the 76ers "trust the process" days. Silver not surprisingly silent.

I'm glad they got rid of him just for the fact that he takes half a season to get over any injury.

It would be stupid for the Raps not to see how Ingram fits with the rest of their roster. I feel confident they will play him if he "feels ready." The logical conclusion is that BI is simply taking his normal eons to return to play from injury.
