I mean its fine. It's cool. But the love it gets baffles me. The main logo is just sooooo much better.

I like the main logo a lot but really love the CCB logo. There are simple little features like the shape of a crescent both in red and in the basketball that make it look cool. It's not overly showy, and that's why a lot of people like it.
I agree that the "BDL" is just a forced fleur de lis logo. Never was a fan.

All I want is a real hardwood look. Almost like you'd see in an old St Charles Ave house. The yellow that was in there is terrible.

While I do admit that the logo is well crafted with the crescent, I like the New Orleans Pelicans logo much better. I think the love of anything Crescent City is just part of your standard NOLA insiderism.

They said numerous names were considered, and the others were discounted for various reasons, including some alienating certain groups.

I don't dislike it, but its definitely not my favorite like it seems to be for the majority of the board. Also, I highly doubt that logo will be at center court. If I had to bet, it would be the pel logo without the "New Orleans" wording.

I believe if the CCB logo makes the court at all... it will be inside the 3 pt arc ... but I'm more inclined to believe it won't be on the court at all (main Pelicans logo will be at center... bird-de-lis inside the 3 pt arc)... it'll be either the back of the jersey above the players' last name or on the shorts somewhere
as for the logos... I like them all... including the CCB 1... but CCB seems like 1 that is just there for local sales... not really 1 to be used a lot by the team in a big way

I really hate the Fleur de Bird. They had so much potential to incorporate the wings of the bird like they did with the bee and failed.
