If Willie doesn’t get us in the playoffs…would you bring in Udoka?

Udoka is a defensive coach, we need an offensive coach.

Willie will not be fired no matter how the season ends, but i can see them bringing in someone like Finch as an assistant to run the offense.

Willie being too nice will cost him. Needs to cut bait with some of Stan’s coaches. And if he doesn’t have the power to do so he needs to tell Griff to let him do his job

Casey Hill, he’s in charge of the offense and right now all I see is BI dribbling for 21 seconds and going 1 on 3

That's Ingram's game. You have to live with that right now because you need his scoring, playmaking, and his ability to draw defenses when he has the ball.

We need better shooters if you want to keep 2-3 guys off of him and force them to stay home. Only Zion can mitigate that issue this season.

It doesn’t have to be, you’re only saying that because it’s all you see but if you watch good coaches throughout the league they actually get their stars easy buckets/ uncontested shots and layups from time to time. The night Giannis cooked us he had at least 4 uncontested dunks or easy dump off passes by design. We don’t get that very often

I love this team just as much as anyone and I get the defending the coaching staff because this is the most success we’ve had in a while but this is bad coaching at the moment. Maybe they’ll get it together but if we happen to not get in the playoffs it will be a huge failure

I am not ready to doom and gloom on Willy but man his rotations these past two years have been very questionable.

He has literally cost us a handfull of games this year solely on his 4th quarter minute distribution.

That is not Ingram’s game. There’s a huge difference between how Ingram played last year to how he’s playing this year. I said it in another thread, but it’s looking to me like Ingram is trying to “prove” that he’s better than Zion. He’s trying to do way more iso and make way dumber passes while dribbling out the shot clock.

He wasn’t doing those things last year. Willie says it almost every press conference, we are supposed to be running a .5 offense which means we should have WAY more ball movement than we do (you see it when the bench players come in the game).

The problem is Willie is stuck between a rock and a hard place. What can he do? He can’t bench BI, the fanbase would want his head on a stick. He can’t take the ball out of Ingram’s hands because he is the best player on the court right now for us until Zion gets back.

It’s going to be up to Ingram to accept that he’s second fiddle and he has to play that way and play the game we need him to play that’s conducive to winning basketball games.

Something has to change. The sad part is I really don’t feel optimistic they could actually hire a better coach. This organization has failed at everything.
