who is at least an efficient scorer, we're playing 3 on 5 on offense

How many teams in the league can put 5 efficient scorers on the court at the same time?

He's missing wide open jumpers. Most of the shots he is taking are wide open due to Paul's penetration and kick outs and they are not even contested. Even somebody like me wouldn't miss that many wide open shot if they aren't contested.

I understand he's not an efficient or prolific scorer, but damn when you're that damn wide open you should at least make some of them especially if you're a so-called "pro"

This is what I don't understand. He is shooting worse this season than last when he was forcing things as the #1 option, all he gets here are wide open looks. I feel sorry for David West. Paul is just not putting the team on his back lately so our only answer when guys can't get open seems to be dump it down low to West. We really need another post scorer. I think if Marcus shakes the rust off he can help us on the wing.

Nonsense. When was the last time you shot and made an NBA 3?

Its tough cause we went from Peja (top 3point shooter in the league) to Ariza(cant throw it in the ocean)

Ariza will have more impact against teams with the players of Melo, Durant, and Kobe status.

Love him on the defensive end but he has no business taking more shots a game than the Italian Stallone.

Remember when every Rocket's fan on this site told ya'll this in August? This board instead would only believe we are Rocketards and have no clue about anything if it negatively effects the Hornets.

The guy frustrated the shite out of me when he was a Rocket for the same reason he is frustrating you. I told Hornet fans who were nutting over his defense, they may want to watch a couple of games because of it. We made a knee jerk sign because of his playoff run with the Lakers and I for one was thrilled to see him go.

At least he is not drastically over paid.

He really just needs to make the wide open stuff. We didn't bring him in to be a superstar. We just want him to play great defense and make wide open shots. He should be plenty capable of doing that.

Thats what we wanted too but he is He got into it with Aaron Brooks right before he became a Hornet and will never be the guy everyone wants him to be. Hes too stubborn to realize he can't shoot. I would have loved him if he just took it to the basket and played D but he won't do that. He wants to be like T-Mac in his prime and he never will be.
