After last night....the Lakers lost all chances to get AD...

Teams are firing up offers that will drown their offer to the bottom of the ocean floor

What team that hasn't yet been mentioned can beat the Lakers offer?

Seriously, any playoff team from last year should be on the phone with the Pels right now.

We didn’t want that deal then and we don’t want it now. How in the frick are you gonna roll out a garbage can, get mad when we say no, then say that deal is off the table like you playing 4D chess?

Let’s stay on topic.

#4 pick is tricky. I’m not a huge Garland guy, and mostly think we should be in talent acquisition mode. Take the best player, period. Guys I like next are Culver, White and Reddish.

Culver is just a good basketball player. I find it hard to imagine him not doing well. Never an all star, but a good player.

I don’t think people realize White is a 6’5 PG. He still has a lot of room to grow as a basketball player, and a lot less question marks than a Garland IMO.

And then Reddish is just a monster. A truly huge human being. I think initially he was judged for not being this dominant offensive player taking a back seat to Zion and Barrett(who doesn’t share the ball well). But Reddish immediately gives you great defense and matchup ability, as well as the ability to hit 3’s and handle the ball some. Again, I like a guy that I know can contribute, who also has the ability to become a major contributor down the road.

The Lakers deal is like trading a brand new Ferrari for a Honda Civic, a Toyota Corolla, a Kia Santa Fe, and a Chevy Malibu. It might be more cars, but in the end, all those cars suck!

But that Ferrari is always broke down, doesn't want to be in your garage, and has a fricked up grill

Lol. The Ferrari also has a balloon payment coming, and we don’t have a way to pay for it.

Culver, Hunter or White.
Draft the best talent regardless of position.

Reddish probably has bigger star potential, but he also has bigger bust potential. I like Culver. May never be a perennial all star, but a guy with great physical traits that might just be scratching the surface of his potential. Hunter from Virginia can defend and this year started to become a better scorer. Maybe a coincidence, but with him out UVA gets blown out by a #16 seed. With him in, the win the national championship.

He has the traits required. I think his lack of production was due to not being able to play to his best while at Duke. RJ Barrett and the other guy #3 whose name doesn't matter enough for me to google brought it up mostly.

They made Reddish stand in the corner and into a 3pt shooter. When I saw him more comfortable when he has the ball. I do worry about his ability to learn how to play off the ball a bit. But he's 6'8" with a 7' wingspan. Very athletic and fluid. Plus his shooting stroke is high and he can get it off quickly.

Those are things that translate. He'll need the right situation, but I happen to believe in him a lot.

Enough to take if we get the 4th pick? That's a tough one, because I like Culver's already more polished game a ton too.

This is pretty much where I stand on him. Where I disagree with the higher post is his bust potential. I think Reddish has a fairly high floor. He is going to defend and be at least a decent shooter. That will translate. The question is how far can his offensive game develop.
