He's a point like Ron Harper from the Bulls. Not flashy but doesn't turn the ball over.

Without Jose the past 3 games hes had 13 assists with 11 turnovers. Again I like Boston but hes not a point guard and has struggled in that role recently.

Boston averaging 1.5 turnovers per game with the Pels. OKC was the outlier with 6 in one game when the whole team lost their talent. W/O that game he is 1.1 per game over ten. Size and hands make him perfect for backup role that can defend and play with the starters. I love Jose, but he'll always get exploited with major minutes due to his size.

I just want to see BI and Zion showcased as finishers, not initiators. You still have plenty of opportunity for them to be primary ballhandlers when they are cooking but Pels need more of BI in the low post wing and Zion in Jocic high post. Easier buckets and less wear and tear on the bodies (which lead to injuries). Real point isn't easy.

I understand your need to make Zion and BI finishers but Boston’s struggles on ball when Jose has left have become an issue. Yes he averaged less turnovers when Jose played, as soon as Jose left his turnovers increased because he was forced to play point- which is completely out of position for him. And not to mention, the pace has slowed and they have had a real tough time getting into their sets with Boston at point. Case in the point- late in lakers game Boston couldn’t even get the ball to BI and took a really bad long 3 instead. Boston, when everyone is healthy, may get some minutes at a wing position but hes not going to spend 15-20 minutes as a backup PG. Jose size on defense may be an issue but his pace, ability to play points, not turnover the ball and get into sets quickly is a real asset for a team lacking point guards.

I think you move Jose finally. He has reached his peak potential and might as well sell while maximizing his worth. That clears the way for Boston to play along with CJ and Hawk on the perimeter.

You move on from the old guy. Doesn't have much left to give.

It seems from your post you implied to move on from Jose. Now you want to move on from CJ?? For Brandon Boston? CJ is just much, much better player than Boston.

I like Boston but you do realize we have lost almost every game the more minutes hes gotten right? There probably is a good reason for that. He deserves some minutes but we shouldn’t be moving real NBA starers/scorers for Boston.

We just extended Jose. People need to put down the crack pipe if they think we're getting rid of him

For sure, Jose has a defined role on this team and provides great value.

We shall see ... I believe the OKC game was the outlier. He's a good ballhandler, but would like to see him play with more pace when he is manning the point.

Honestly these young men have began to play good team ball. I like their activity as opposed to our starting 5. I like Boston, Cain and Green for their size. They play hard defense and can score. I just don't know who to keep, play or sit. Hawkins is inconsistent but he's still young...he's still a defensive liability though.

I don’t think we’ve seen our starting 5 together and healthy this season to even know what they look like.

I agree with you on that. But you have to look at the amount of money CJ is getting in comparison to Boston. Also, let's look towards the future, Brandon Boston has many years to play, CJ may have 1 to 2 years if he is lucky.

Can you honestly state the starting five save Herb is as active on the defensive end as the current players starting. A good mixture can go along way. Issue who's going to put their ego aside for the team?

Again I can’t answer that question and nor can you. We have not even seen the starting 5 play in the preseason let alone the regular season. Theres no judgements to be made on how they are on defense because theres absolutely no data or visual evidence of them being together. Another frustrating part of this shite season honestly.
