I can’t stand to watch this team but I see Missi’s stat lines

Has he really been playing as well as the numbers say? From the minutes it looks like he has become the starter already.

He's played surprisingly well. I would say better than one could have reasonably expected with his limited overall experience playing the game of basketball despite a consensus belief that he learns quickly and ability to apply tutelage in a discernible fashion.
He has allowed the Pels to not have to immediately seek a trade to shore up the Center position early in the season.
I would give him an A- to B+ for his improving play this early in the season.

That’s good to hear. I’ll start watching again soon with people getting healthy but it was just too ugly to waste your time watching them with everyone hurt. I’m assuming a lot of his offense is from his energy dunking it or put back on a shot. As long as he can play solid defense, rebound and block shots then he would be a steal at pick 21. I just wish we could see this team with Murray and Zion playing together but who knows when or if Z wants to come back so someone has to be the starting 4 which I assume is Trey.

As a whole this year Missi has played really well. His defense, shot blocking and rebounding have been surprisingly good. He’s not afraid to challenge at the rim and his put backs/timing are very good. Can’t wait to see him learn a little more and see what he becomes. He was the bright spot of the beginning of the year for me.
