Or, if it's low enough, they just re-sign him for the hell of it for the same exact reason the Pelicans resigned Gordon. You don't let assets walk away for nothing. You have to either give up assets + pay Pek or overpay Pek.

I'd take Jefferson at the right price, which is unlikely to happen considering the money guys like Deandre Jordan, Hibbert, Asik etc get.
Guys like Al Jeff and Pekovic are exponentially better than those guys. Unless Demps can work all this "magic" that I keep hearing about, then I don't want to overpay. Nothing over $10m give or take.
There are like 4 centers who average at least 16/9 and shoot 50%+ from the floor. Those guys are 2 of them

they'll possibly deal love, but if they want to win, they're going to have to pay this money to this level of players
