there wasn't a better example of class, hardwork, and professionalism than DWest for this organization
Respectfully I disagree....

I couldn't help but notice how often CP3 was right alongside DWest in that video. Damn I miss both of those guys. They were great for the city. As much as we can try to hate CP3 for leaving the way he did, I respect the hell out of him for what he did in NOLA while he was here. Like DWest said in the CST link, its a business, and its hard to blame either one of them for leaving. As much as I was looking forward to seeing how harsh our fans would be against CP3 when he comes to play here to play against us, now I think that he deserves nothing more than a warm welcome for what he did to this city. He loved it here, he just wanted something that he didn't think he could get out of the Hornets organization.

And I can't blame you for that. I'm sure I'm in the minority here. But he did too much for the city of New Orleans when it really needed it after Katrina for me to hate him now.

I mean while in New Orleans. P.J played just about 2-3 seasons for us here before Katrina.

Is anybody on here a member of the Bee Zanies? I gotta wonder what was going through their heads, that is just plain disrespectful and West deserved better.

I will not boo CP3 when he is back in NOLA.

This. I will be cheering cp3 when he returns to the hive.

I didn't see the purple hornet there Sat. night. So he isn't a guilty party (unless someone else saw him-even then he may not have been booing). Perhaps he'll convey what other fans thought of the booing if he sees this? It definitely seemed to me to be the loudest from the Bee Zanies with smatterings of boos from other places in the hive.

Purple Hornet already said that he wasn't there, but that he informed the others he wouldn't boo D West if he would be. Clearly the others didn't follow suit. Damn shame really.

Does anyone have a video of West's reaction to the tribute video?

Which Hova song is that? Feel like I should know this.
The video chokes me up. Can only imagine what it's going to be like when CP returns.

Yup, wasn't there. Not going to get into the whole TD vs BeeZanies thing again. It's been beaten to death lol.
I do have to say though, CP gave us some great years, but I'll be in that number booing him though. I don't disagree with why he left, but the way he handled it. DWest on the other hand left quietly with no fuss, which is why I don't really hold a grudge against him, although it feels so weird to see him in another jersey. Didn't think it'd get to me, haven't seen him play in Indiana much, but that video hit the soft spot for me.

Spot on, my friend.
