A lot of times picks are traded with a protection clause if they are top 10 so that it goes back to the original team.
That said a lot of people are saying Minny's pick will fall between 8-12 this year.
Is it bad that I will be rooting for both the Hornets and Timberwolves to tank this year!

I'll be the first to admit that Im a VERY casual NBA fan but I do enjoy the sport and like to see the hornets do well. I have heard of Gordan and Kaman (don't think they are game changers) but have never heard of Aminu. This seems like a horrible trade for NOLA. Is this true? I would trust the opinions of people with more NBA knowledge than I do.
