This seems like a fairly even match up with the Hornets winning the PG battle and Houston having more big bodies to throw at Okafor. I'm going to give the Hornets the momentum edge though. They are starting to believe in themselves and their team defense while the Rockets have been getting pummeled into a 0-3 start.
Not to mention what I said about the Spurs game, Hornets are playing well thought out, customized for each team game plans and just like we had a lot of inside info on the Spurs, we have a lot of inside info on the Rockets with Ariza and Madkins. 4-0 Baby!

This game is far away enough for Rocketards like boom to come out the woodworks. Fairly unusual to have 3-4 full days off between games this early.

They have a game either tonite or Monday I think....I was worried about a back to back for us , but I forgot the roster has been remade and we are no longer old men

That it is. It's amazing how we went from one of the best to one of the worst. We run a bit more but RA implementing a motion O to the system shouldn't have made these guys forget how to play D. we have been terrible through the first 3 games stopping anyone.

Basically, the Rockets lack any kind of interior defense for 24 minutes each game. And even when Yao is on the court, his lateral movement is very poor. Plus, Brooks and Martin are the worst defensive backcourt in the league.

This should change dramatically with Dampier. He and Hayes on the floor at the same time will be a very strong interior defense. This team needs to learn how to play 4 quarters together. I was ok with the way they played the first two games but the Denver game was a joke. They better get their shite together.
