You tried to lower Zion’s ceiling after 34 games and spent the rest of the thread attempting to discredit and berate anyone that disagreed with you doing so.

Take the L

I mean don’t gaslight my man.

When you got called out you spent the next week quoting anyone that was attempting to shite talk Zion and/or insult the posters defending them to get a pile on going.

i think you may be confusing me with someone else. i didn't even participate in this thread as much as i imagine you remember

i did make a joke response to karma and his brother, but that's inside stuff from the past 15 years on this site and not a direct "beratement"

Zion was and has been on a upward path, last season and this season.

His per 36 was actually better in year 1.

Youre still an idiot. LOL.

You called him fat, said he wasnt panning out, and called him Anthony Bennett. Bahahahahahahahahahah

Meanwhile the rest of the basketball world was in awe of Zion and has been for a while now.

You called him fat,

pretty sure i didn't

quote:

said he wasnt panning out,

THAT is a straw man

and called him Anthony Bennett.

this is a straw man on fire

Come on now, Page one:

quote:

but that still is kind of my point. on the level of player, we thought he'd be much more lebron than griffin. now being griffin is still a great player and obviously worthy of the #1 pick, but it isn't the generational guy we all thought we were getting

Me:
quote:

His ceiling is still best player in the leagueThat hasn’t changed in 34 games.

You:
If we don't start seeing athleticism like the gif on page 1, then this is no longer true.

You wanted to lower his ceiling after 34 games and because he didn’t perform to your satisfaction some arbitrary cherry picked gif from college.

Let’s not gaslight and just get our serving.

Listen, I’m all in hoping my crow serving about trading back from Hunter, who’s a beast, comes strong and hard for me because it means Hayes and NAW end up the real deal and sooner than I anticipated was likely.

Embrace it.

whoa whoa whoa

those comments you're quoting were about your accusations that i was being rude to posters and then i

quote:

spent the next week quoting anyone that was attempting to shite talk Zion and/or insult the posters defending them to get a pile on going

nothing you just quoted shows either

quote:

You wanted to lower his ceiling after 34 games and because he didn’t perform to your satisfaction some arbitrary cherry picked gif from college.

i still think his ceiling is lowered than when he was drafted and that his athleticism isn't at Duke level yet

quote:

Let’s not gaslight and just get our serving.

go back and read what i posted, especially before the thread went into tangential sub-discussions. i just quoted them on the last page, post 3

you're out here like the guy who made a mistake misquoting me like i said i'd take Ja over Zion

What an absolutely wild take. Nobody expected him to be this unstoppable as a ball handler and in the pick and roll. If anything, his ceiling is way higher.

I'm here to eat my crow. I never ever thought Morant was the better pick but I was disappointed in his fitness.

He's improved quite a bit in that regard.

Don’t need to be a woman to see how fragile the egos are of some.

I’ll just never understand why people would prefer to defend the indefensible instead of just admitting they were wrong, especially when being wrong ultimately is a good thing.

Like I said, I’ve talked mad shite about Hayes, but he’s getting closer and closer to proving the haters like me wrong. I think he still has a ways to go but his rate of progress is much better than I feared it would be in a best case scenario and hope to eat that crow on it, because it means we got a really good player

I applaud his effort to bring traction to PT, but he’s not some pro basketball aficionado. Of course he’s going to backtrack, that’s his MO

That is indefensible.
