Nah I think my mind is open enough. It's gonna be one of those things where everyone is like "lol yeah Rougarou is awesome!" and then a little while down the road when they hear it enough and see how much everyone ridicules it then they'll realize it was a mistake to permanently change our name to the fricking ROUGAROU.

I'm usually open to discussion. I just really, really hate the Rougarou and would be sick if it picked up steam and became our permanent name.

sorry to burst your bubble, but the organization is not going to make a decision based on what Hornets Talk says. it's going to be pelicans. but you should also realize why people would prefer Rougarou to other names on the list that was passed out last night.

I'm by no means a huge Pelican fan, but just look at the two names. Pelicans can at least be nationally identifiable. Although I guess it'll be hard for people to make fun of a goofy sounding word that they can't define that refers to an imaginary being.
