Yeah Thibs is bad to coach young players / rookies.
But the floor of the team would be better.

I'd hire Thibs in a heartbeat but I seriously doubt he would be remotely interested in working for this franchise
This.

No Last year in New York proved the game passed him by
How in the hell is a coach taking a team to the conference finals (that no one expected to be there), upsetting the defending champs in the process, somehow viewed as a failure. By any possible analysis, the Knicks over achieved last year. But the game has passed him by??? What the hell are we talking about?

His teams had a terribly designed offense, and he plays his starters too much to the point of burnout… the league doesn’t do that anymore
They might have overachieved but they choked a Conference Finals against Indiana where they were favored to win with that shitshow at the end of game 1

Thibs wouldn't come here brah, the way the city is set up, you'd be better off visiting than moving here. No one moves to New Orleans with money

Huh? Dumars made the CJ trade for Poole. He thought Poole was part of the future here and a significant piece of the "core."
For sure, some of you don’t get it. Griff exited Al, SVG, and Willie too, Dumars just dropped the blade on WG, same with CJ. Both really were already gone and wanted out. Griff’s mismanagement of Zion was fubar and the new guy is really going to open the curtain to an already deflated fan base.
Good odds Pels will be back in the first round in June, with a couple good rookies to build with, a couple of new bodies from trades and loss of a couple of fan favorites players That was always the plan.

Cool story.

Hard to find a worse set of transactions in ONE off-season than the Pacers trade, Wizards trade, Hawks trade. That's before we get to the minor but still harmful misses in Looney and Hawkins option. Truly an all-time bad executive stretch in just a few short months.
All set in motion by an owner in over her head. It’s no surprise her franchises are bottom tier losers, though some here will celebrate the Saints as a success story while drafting 8th.
As for Dumars, he should be canned immediately but will likely get a raise and extension.

agree, gotta give him the reins. Whatever it takes.
Dumars isn’t giving up his passive income.
