Hawkins looks more nba ready than any of our good recent draft picks

He played really well despite the bad shooting.

But there’s already multiple threads on him. A senior admin should clean this up.

We tend to do well with older prospects. Especially ones with at least a legit NBA skill coming into the league.

Hawkins is a far more complete player and a better functional athlete than I expected.

I loved the pick but I will admit his summer league performance had me nervous. Just goes to show that summer league is a mirage.... otherwise NAW would be a 3 time all star right now.

Tried to warn people not to judge based off of glorified pick up games that are not suited to his game.

Those summer league games looked like there was no real plan.

Preseason he wasn't great, but he also wasn't bad. Glad that since we are actually running a true offense and defense people can see what he can actually do.

Shooting will always be streaky (even guys like Steph have off nights, just not against us), but he goes 110% all game.
