At this point the better the Lakers do the more they will have to pay Reaves, Schroeder, etc. They won’t beat Denver/Phoenix

I just don't see any way the Lakers can score enough to hang with GS. Warriors in 5...6...at the most.

I keep subconsciously pulling for the Lakers whenever Draymond’s out there.

But then I see AD and I’m mad again. Man frick this series is a Pels nightmare.

Almost impossible to overcome this big a foul and free throw advantage for LA.

I would hazard a guess that in the next game...the Warriors will shoot a few more free throws...and the Lakers will shoot a few less, assuming the Lakers hold on & win tonight, of course. After all, it IS the NBA.

24-12 in fouls and 29-6 in free throws. Comically bad by the refs.

Yeah it’s a choice to settle for 26-30 footers instead of getting in the paint.

What about the other 53 attempts? Schroeder had 4 more FT attempts than GS as a whole. Entertainment

Anyone complaining about the refs didn’t watch the game. Like others have said Warriors were jacking up deep threes all game while the Lakers pushed. Not to mention AD was all over the place and Vanderbilt did a great job staying with Curry. There were very few questionable calls. Bring on the downvotes.

Free throws. Warriors won't be able to beat the refs.

Watch the game. Lots of undisciplined fouls the warriors made. All of that can be cleaned up… but they put themselves in that situation. They’ll adjust and win game 2.

They have to get in the paint tho. Curry is more in the game when he gets to the rim as well as pulling it from outside. Warriors settled a ton last night.

Kuminga May see more run in game 2 to give them someone who wants to be a rim runner for them…

Am I supposed to go re-watch it or something? It was a poorly officiated game. Sure GS can clean stuff up, but that doesn't change the fact that the refs were swallowing their whistles whenever GS had the ball.

Schroder had like 10 FTA on 10 shots and Klay and Steph had THREE total on like 50 shots. Give me a break.

For sure. It was an ugly game to watch.

They had a span in the 2nd Q maybe? When 3 fouls were called on the Lakers that were nothing more than a nudge or a player "blew" on a warrior.

The scariest and most noticeable part from Game 1 was just how much GS settled for the 3 and that is what kept them relevant in the game.

They are a more balanced team even though they do rely on the 3ball right? So look for Kerr to emphasize getting into the paint more in Game 2 and moving forward. The Warriors will get their FTs up into the teens that way and also will have easier 3 balls for the guys that work so hard for their shot.

"feel out game".. If GS doesn't make those adjustments and LA continues to be successful in the paint, then this could end quickly.

I had GS winning last night, was surprised with the output by LA and how AD was able to stay on the floor. He disappeared offensively in the last 5 min of the game as well.

I try to figure out which games will be competitive & which games will have fairly obvious winners ahead of time. This Lakers/ GS series seems fairly easy, especially once Lakers won game 1. I think the only decent game remaining will be either game 4 or game 6. In one of those games, the Lakers won't shoot 20-30 more FTs than the Warriors & so THAT should be a close game.

NO way the close one could be tonight's game. That just wouldn't make sense. So...I ended up watching the Braves tonight...and was glad I did. I'll tune in for game 4...at least for a while...it COULD be the close one.
