New facility, new health director/department, scouting department, and a g-league team. Yeah she’s definitely not in the owner circle alright.

I just don't know who that coach is. Kenny Atkinson?

I acknowledge the reverence but hardly understand it. I just don’t think it extends past the local community.
So, your personal biased opinion?

Not sure all of those were confirmed to have interviewed, but regardless, other than Doc Rivers, who last year that was available and who this year that was available would you consider to be a superstar coaching hire?

Not sure where the idea was formed that I was calling for a superstar hire

You made the comment-

But you have a superstar in Zion & the best you can attract is Willie frickin Green.

So, who realistically would you think would be the type of hire you would expect given we have Zion?

Just about anyone of those 10 from last year were more credentialed

Its hard to get too much more credentialed than Alvin Gentry was, he was a HC like 4 times before we hired him.

If we hired someone with head-coaching experience, then everyone would be complaining that we hired a retread.

Since we hired a young up-and-coming coach, we get the complaints about the lack of experience.

There was never any candidate who would have satisfied most of this board.

Is Fred Vinson more credentialed than Willie Green? What about Becky Hammon, what about T-spoon... asking for a friend

Guys like Vanterpool, Ham & Mosley have all been assistants since like 07-08. All young, in their 40’s. Well liked by players

I've been a big Ham guy so i'm not downing these guys. But sometimes the best and most promising rise quicker than others. That's really a fact. Pete Carmichael is still looking for his HC gig. Some of those type guys ain't got it.

They're your words. If you're not explaining well enough, that's on you.

the best teams could do in recent years with Lebron was a 1st timer in Davis Blatt, a first timer with Lue, and a retread in Vogel who hadn't coached the previous season and was slumming in in Orlando before that.

I don't think top shelf players magically attract the best coaches like you think they do.

You don't like the guy who doesn't have all of the experience in the world. Is it not possible that he's really good and that's why he rose so fast? Or maybe those three aren't as good as you might think and that's why they keep getting passed up?

Vanterpool keeps getting passed on for multiple jobs every year, not just ours. I'm guessing there's a reason for that.
