I really want Gordon here, but if by February he still doesn't want to be here i would trade him like denver did last yr with nene cause any team would love a healthy Gordon.

Right as of now he can just take the QA. But once he signs that offer sheet he is locked up by either PHX or NOLA for four years. He would be stupid to take the QA given his injury history. A guaranteed $58 million dollars is still $58 million. He would be set for life whereas probably not so much with $5 million.

Its Chris Broussard man. The man is one of the biggest hacks in sports journalism.

His brother's going into his senior year so that'd be a stupid reason.
I think he has two more seasons of eligibility left.

I thought Gordon was in love with the wonderful city of New Orleans and would never leave...

no where in the statement does it say he prefers phoenix over new orleans... broussard claims he personally told this to him. so, we are supposed to believe he releases a prepared statement, then separately texts broussard "oh btw i'd rather be in phx than new orleans"?

Or he doesn't like New Orleans and doesn't want to play there.
quote:
"Basketball is basketball, it doesn't matter where you play," Gordon said. "The trade was something new for me, there were a lot of new situations for me. Hopefully, my next situation will be my destination for a long time."
I don't see an "except New Orleans" in there.

SO, leave a team with a very bright future for a team with nothing? Makes sense. Let him go then. I don't want a player that doesn't want to be here, that is cancer to a team.

that's all I was saying. He COULD take the QO in NOLA and be an URFA after the season but I don't think he does that. Meaning the Hornets match it and I think he'll stay put. Maximus posting in a hoops thread?

Gordon's quote sounds like a slap in the face to us.

THIS. This is what I've been trying to say the whole time. It has nothing to do with the direct quote.

Are we really still playing this game? I think EG's position on where he wants to play is pretty clear.
