No reason to run interim for 70 games.

The entire organization thinks very highly of JB, they will give him the chance to win the job

1. Why in God's name would he want to come here?

2. Ain't no way in hell Gayle Benson will pay him.

Expect a little ish known dude who no other competent organization would be looking at to be named head coach at a salary that'll put him at or near the bottom of the NBA in coach salary.

Right now it’s James Borrego’s job to lose, the guy that’s been a finalist for multiple jobs the last 3 seasons….

Not very “littlish known” ya think?

The guy who hasn't been a coach for 4 seasons and would meow than likely fit the bill of a dude getting one of those low end salaries?

Yea, that guy.

You mean the guy that has had his agent float his name out to other jobs in hopes of drumming up interest, but still couldn't get a job because he already has a proven track record as a terrible head coach.

The only job that he was reportedly a finalist for was a lead assistant coaching job this past offseason... and he couldn't even land that.

This board has been deifying the frick out of him for years and it's incredibly weird.

There was a graphic on social media that listed the salaries of all of the head coaches in the NFL. Most of the first time head coaches (Ben Johnson, Aaron Glen, Liam Cohen) make 12-15 million per year. Kellen got 3.9 million. You are going to be severely disappointed if you are hoping for a Malone type hire. This organization is not going to pay the money required to get a Michael Malone. Better get used to the bargain bin . We get what they pay for!

Kellen is getting at least mid 5s to 7 million.

Nobody knows the details for sure. It is thought to be between 5-10 million dollars depending on your source.

Its how we run the Saints. We refuse to admit draft msitakes, or players being washed up.Keep the same ppl around despite performance(W Green, Jeffv Ireland)

Saints coaches are not part of the coaches union, they don’t release that type of information so you will never know.

He took the worst team in the league and had them improving every single year with no talent and had the Hornets only season above .500 in the past 10 years. There’s a reason he’s been getting interviewed these last 3 seasons and has been top 2 for 3 jobs (Cleveland, Detroit and Knicks). After Knicks went with Brown they tried to get JB to go be lead assistant but were blocked.

This is just false, we blocked him from taking the lead assistant job at NY because it was a lateral move and we could.

The one game he took over for Willie we looked like a completely different team with completely different energy blowing out a Luka led Dallas team by 30 with Zion having a bad night. Hawk looked like he was a top 10 player in his draft class actually being used to his strengths, as did the whole team.

Willie came back next game and it was the same old shite.

That game is what started the doubt in Willie with the fanbase and team

There is so much wrong with what you posted it's not even worth it.

Continue deifying Borrego by all means, he's not going to be any better than Willie.
