Shut the frick up troll. Your shtick is tiring and unamusing. Find a different place to spew this nonstop negative nonsense you fabricate in your mothers basement.

Relax. Apologies for bringing up potentially relevant reasoning for ownership not fully committing from a luxury tax dollar standpoint.

In what ways has Gayle been unwilling to spend money?
That's because she's cheap and unwilling to spend money to win.

You’re assuming there were worthwhile players that were available and a good fit, but Gayle declined.
She relies on Griff for personnel issues and Lauscha, Loomis and others close to her for advice on financial mattters related to the team.
My point is that she does care about the team and winning, as well as the
Players, staff and the fans. I think some frustrated fans are constantly
looking for something or someone to blame for their frustration.

It's wild that we're making excuses for our owner being cheap, why would we do that?

No way she even knows anything about the team, roster etc.
I mean she is it every home game. Do you think she just sits there blindfolded?

Does she care about winning or money? If it's winning, then show it by not being the last and only team to never pay the tax.
We have never had a team that warrants an owner to even sniff paying that tax. If we have shite teams and make shite decisions all the time, you don’t just get more shite and pay high taxes on it.
She’ll pay the tax when it’s warranted.

Exactly. No need to pay the tax unless you’re very close to being a contender. It’s not wise when you’re still building. Face it, we’re still building and only beginning to sniff contender status. NOTE: that isnt a precise calculation.
