I couldn't be more impressed with Trey Murphy. Obviously had a great game, but was humble in the interview and sounds like a veteran talking about his approach to the game. We got a good one.

Murphy on the court with Graham, Ingram, and Zion is going to be so beautiful. I can already envision the spacing for Zion.

I like what I saw. Varied actions for multiple players, allowed those guys to play freely, and emphasized rebounding and defense as well. Looks like he allows freedom for the players to move around but in a more organized and purposeful way vs Gentry's version where guys would randomly run into each other and their space.

The adjustments he made at halftime changed the game. It was the biggest thing for me. It give me hope that he can really coach this team to play defense. If someone isn't cutting it, he can make lineup changes as we have crazy depth at the wing positions.

The finishing five was awesome with herb at the five. Reminds me of draymond at the five which I assume Willie picked up from his GSW days.

Thought whole team played with intensity and pretty high basketball IQ for a summer league team with a week of practice.

Just one practice game, but I liked Green's demeanor and how he communicated with the team during timeouts. He calmly asked them to do a few things better--box out, rebound and cut off the ball--and they promptly went out and did just that, especially the two rooks, Murphy and Jones, who both looked like experienced college players who'd been well coached. Go figure.

Not gonna talk much about Trey, as nothing needs to be said other than awesome.
Naji looked really good as well, but that was expected.

Liked how Kira was smart with the ball, and played some aggressive full court D. His shot didn’t look good from 3, but he looked good attacking the basket.

Didi’s shot looks terrible, but I was really impressed with his handles and pg skills. If he can figure out how to finish around the rim better, his role in the nba may be more as a pg than off the ball. He did a great job penetrating and finding cutters in the lane all game.

Herbs shot looks wonky too, but love what he brings to the game everywhere else. I’ll never complain about having guys like that on the team. That’s the kind of guy you need when your playing a back to back on the road and the starters look like shite and these backups come in with energy to get the game back in range for the starters to win.
