Since we talking rebuilding lets go the whole nine lol

I like the Sacramento trade and the Philadelphia trade but how about trade Davis and two 2nds to Minnesota for Wiggins and towns the 5th pick
5 Dunn
6 Murray
8 Sabonis
24 Damian Jones

Point Guard: Dunn, Matthew Dellavedova, Tim Frazier
Shooting Guard: Murray, Bryce Dejean-Jones
Small Forward:A Wiggins, Allen Crabbe, Quincy Pondexter
Power Forward: Sabonis, Dante Cunningham, Luke Babbitt
Center: KTowns, Omer Asik, Alexis Ajinca, D Jones

We keep Gentry

With that strategy, might as well just dump tyreke or Jrue to Atlanta for Teague (8 mill), Korver (6 mill) and the 21st. Gives you a ton of cap flexibility and a serviceable PG in return.

Atlanta would laugh Dell out of the building if he suggested that.

No, they are already floating this offer around to move into back end of top 10. You must have more access to the Hawks than I do though...

Minnesota would hang up the phone. Zero chance they would make that trade.

Maybe also trade Asik and toss in a 2nd rounder for Lebron, then just get Steph Curry too while we're at it.

You said Jrue + Tyrec not Jrue + Tyrec + 6th pick

I said Jrue or tyreke plus the pick. But tyreke would probably be more realistic.

My process was more in the thinking of team friendly deal, play out the resign or let them walk. Just gives the Pels more cap flexibility to quickly address team considering they are behind in drafting and development.

Draft picks in the NBA (unlike the NFL) are total crap shoots. For NFL there is s very good chance that your top 3 Rd selections will be nice contributors to team.

Anything out of the top 5 in 1st Rd in NBA has a better chance of being out of the league in 3 yrs than being a stud

I agree with trading Jrue and Tyreke for first round picks.

We need several players around the same age on cheap contracts that can grow and gel together as they get older. Build a core of players around AD's age with potential to grow.
