No, he’s a guy who has watched the absolutely atrocious end of game offensive movement every single time it’s close and we need a basket. He has watched and listened as Antonio Daniels screams about how much better we are when we play with pace and how infrequently we do. He’s watched as Willie stands quietly with his arms folded as Zion continually gets one of the worst whistles in the league. He’s watched as whatever team he fielded this year played no defense whatsoever. We obviously weren’t going to win a lot of games this year with the injuries, but the lack of defensive effort was embarrassing and a reflection on our “defensive minded” coach. So you can quit with the contrarian bullshite you’re spewing in this thread. It’s ridiculous.

I am calling balls and strikes because I have very little emotional connection to either team as I get older.
There just aren't a lot of strikes right now to call.
They won 26 games out of a possible 99. That is pathetic. Saints are going on 5 years without the playoffs and the Pelicans have not won a series since pre-Covid. The two teams are in shambles.
We call the good, we call the bad.
The Ownership deserves scorn for this.
Dumars, based on his performance in the job, does not, because he hasn't done anything yet.
If he makes good moves he will get praise.

I like a lot of what the Saints have done this offseason. I think the state of the franchise is generally poor, but I love the Moore hire and much of his staff. I like some of the minor FA moves they made.

And I have said several times, but your reading comprehension is poor, I will now judge Joe Dumars on the moves he makes going forward. I don't hold keeping Willie against him because I do not believe that is his decision.
The process is not on him, its on the Bensons.
If Dumars makes good moves, I will praise them, if he doesn't I won't.
