I’ll be conservative and predict we get a top 4 seed if everyone is healthy for most part.

Why? What is the purpose of this
Mavs and Wolves are built to win during the regular season and they are both hungry with something to prove. Tough, big, deep defensive teams. Most of the better teams (including us) will have players missing big chunks of the season. Some teams will be able to take advantage and leap frog up to the top..

Who on the Pels is missing a big chunk of the season and why are the soft wolves and paper thin Mavs better equipped, in your reality?

division winners are guaranteed a top 4 seed.
ETA
With that being said pelicans are top four seed. Nuggets clippers and the champs are the other top three

I feel Mavs are taking a step back with Brunson gone, Luka will have to carry that back-court with Dinwiddie as his guy now instead of Jalen. Regarding the Griz, JJJ is out for 1/2 the season and people still think it'll be the same team. Yeah Ja and all that comes with it, but who on the inside takes JJJ's role? Steven Adams and Zaire?

Fake news. If you’re gonna come, come correct.

They get Hardaway back and added Wood. Doncic is odds on favorite to win MVP. They won 52 games last year, were a top 4 seed and made the WCF. They are a tough defensive team that return everything but Brunson. They are falling off and back due to that? Do you think Doncic is a flash in the pan? This is the point where players like him ascend. They don't fade away.

Hey dumbass, no where in my post did I mention Luka being a flash in the pan. I forgot about Hardaway I’ll give you that, didn’t say they’d be bad, just that with other teams ascending could see them in the 5-6 range if we perform how I believe we could…

drop the Grizzlies down to the 2nd tier
correct
they have 1 starter out for game1 and another starter Brooks is doubtful and 6th man is out.
they start off with their rookies in the rotation
no es bueno.

if that happens there are several west teams at 47.
6th thru 10th. tie breakers for playoff spots and coin flips for picks.

From claiming a players peak is 22 years old, to now this. I love how retarded you are.

I dont see eye to eye with BRmark much(mostly cause I think he is a habitual contrarian so he naturally chooses the opposite argument in everything), but I dont really see the Mavs taking a step back either.
On the whole they should be at worst right around where they were last year assuming average health.
They lose Brunson but add Wood and a healthy Hardaway Jr(a guy we tried to pay 20 million to replace Lonzo at one point). Dinwiddie has a full offseason under his belt and no one in the core rotation is older than 30.
It's a solid blue collar team that fits well for a guy like Luka that has such huge gravitational pull and needs the ball in his hands. They can legit run a bunch of sets where they put Luka with 4 shooters around him, which can be devastating.

I don't think Luka is enough of a leader to reign in a guy like Wood.
There's a reason a guy as talented as him has bounced around the league. He's a cancer until proven otherwise.
quote:
"This is my first time hearing about it. But thank you.”
Wood smiled and the room filled with laughter. It’s difficult to believe that Kidd nor anyone else in the organization hasn’t told 6-10 Wood that he’ll be coming off the bench, but Wood did not seem to be joking.
