Fair enough, but a decent showing would have been a nice springboard for the rest of the season. This has been unexpectedly atrocious.

This is a freaking joke. I've never seen worse perimeter play in an NBA game. Jrue is freaking horrible tonight. Poor boogie. Gentry needs to take a hike with Johnny Jones

Carley McCord looks caked out in the makeup.

It does. There was more excitement for New Orleans basketball than we've seen in a long time, then this happens. I think it'd be crazy to expect them to be really good so quick, but you'd like to at least see a competitive game. To make it worse, Gordon lights it up. Just kills the vibe when this team needs support.

Man, I hope they ALL leave. I didn't see one "new" poster that contributed anything. If this loss means they all leave, it is well worth it

I just happen to be at the game.

Hire anybody to the Pelicans not named Johnny Jones and it'd be an improvement.

Oh well, lose by 2 or 50 it's still a loss

The media is going to destroy the Pels for this atrocity and it isn't boogies fault at all. Holiday should own this one along with uncle Al.
I don't see why they would. This kind of loss will just help the Pelicans fall out of relevancy in the national media altogether. I don't think they'll get shite on though.

It's just a bad matchup for us. We don't have the guard power to compete with them.

It's a bad night
Anyone overreacted to it is a fool imo

We don't have the guard power to compete with most of the NBA lol

We are only two all star players away from being a good team

I'm new, not leaving..game was competitive in the first half (I know I know) but there is a ton of potential on this team...we played a good team that got hot in the second 1/2 .. Here is hoping they get that stuff worked out .

I doubt anyone anticipated a 30 pt deficit.
Posted on 2/23/17 at 8:57 pm to J_Hingle
We need a real point guard so badly.

It's definitely a bad night, but down 30+ with 11 to play? That's fricked.

I hope they at least finish this game strong. I'm not going to stop watching. Hell I've seen a ton of terrible Cubs games.
