So Griffin is behind Cousins? Lets compare, they have both been in the league 7 seasons..

Cousins-
2x all nba, 3x all star, never been on a winning team or been to the playoffs
Career avgs- 21/10/3/1 on 46% shooting

Griffin-
ROTY, 4x all nba, 5x all star, 6 straight winning seasons and playoff appearances
Career avgs- 21/9/4 on 51% shooting

Now please tell me again how Cousins is the better player..

Let's look at the last 3 seasons:

Griffin:

PPG: 21.7
TRB: 8.0
AST: 5.1
STL: 0.9
BLK: 0.5
PER: 22.6
VORP: 8.6

All-star appearances: 1
All-NBA appearances: 1 (3rd team)

Cousins:

PPG: 26.1

TRB: 11.7
AST: 3.5
STL: 1.5
BLK: 1.5
PER: 24.9
VORP: 11.3

All-star appearances: 3
All-NBA appearances: 2 (2nd team twice) and he should've been All-NBA again

Now, please stfu because you look like a dumbass right now. You literally have jack shite left to say because I proved you wrong. At one point Griffin was better, but Cousins has been better than him for quite some time now.

Winning seasons means jack shite considering Griffin had one of the best rosters around him, yet still couldn't make it out of the 2nd round. Cousins played on AWFUL teams.

Winning seasons mean jack shite? So Cousins is this huge victim of his own success and didn't run off 5-6 coaches, alienate/runaway teammates, inflate his own stats and get traded away for pennies on the dollar cause that was the best deal they could get. Do I need to bring up his behavior on the court and his record of flagrants/fines?

Meanwhile Griffin didn't just get one of the biggest contracts in NBA history and is a shell of his former self at 28. Plus he's injury prone, unlike Cousins, who's never had injury problems (other than the 50 games he's missed over the past 3 seasons).

I don't buy it and I'm not going to STFU. If you guys want to keep patting each other on the back and having your little circle jerks, be my guest. But I love arguing this stuff. I'll tell you this, ask any GM who they would prefer to have, Griffin or Cousins. Who are they taking?

Griffin's health is a big red flag. the 5 year contract from Ballmer was a little surprising to me.

that said, if he's healthy, im really curious to see what he does w/o Paul. he went nuts a few years back when Paul was out for a while. his days of dunking over everyone are probably done, but he's got more skill than most want to admit. he is a great passer/creator for a big. if he gives them 70 games at even just 85% of his pre-injury self, they will be a tough out.

Yes, for an individual player. Of course.

griffin is no longer better than Cousins. This isn't 2014.

I'm not going to debate this, but it flys in the face of everything I know about sports. Good-great players play on winning teams. If a guy doesn't win, then I think it pulls against him. I'm not talking a bad season here or there, but constant losing.

As for the stats part, a few years ago K. Love was one of the best PFs in the game and a "top 10" player according to a lot of people. His last season with the Wolves he averaged 26/12/4. His next season with the Cavs 16/9/2. Now, did he just get worse all at once or was he sacrificing numbers to fit more with the team?

If that's your opinion, then cool. I don't agree, but not a big deal. We'll see what happens this year..

Cousins is better in literally ever area of basketball. offense, defense, jumpshooting, post scoring, defending, shot blocking, rebounding. anyone who thinks griffin is even close to cousins is a complete retard.

Griffins a really skilled passer. Boogie is good but not griffin good. Which is no knock.
