For a city that embraces its superstars, you really think majority of people just randomly decided to not like one. We are all in on it/ he has no part in how city.feels about him?

people gave reggie bush shite because of the same thing...and when he played, he helped the team win a lot of games. The fans embrace winning. Eric Gordon can help us win.

NOLA has a lot of ignorant fans.

im not trying to rag jason smith. But you arent going to ask Gordon to play though a knee injury and just magically hope it gets better to where he can play more minutes.

The guy has never even tried to endear himself to fans.

I agree, but he does not seem to be the smartest or most outspoken guy. All he sees is negativity from the fans and media towards him. How would you feel if you were hurt and everyone around you told you how much you sucked and how much they didn't like you?

He's a scared, emotional, pansy man who is afraid to play through pain and needs his ego stroked. But I feel pretty confident he isn't intentionally "trying" anything.

The fans and media aren't really doing their part to make him feel wanted and welcome.

Because it's hard for him to overcome the Syracuse tweet, not showing up to games, his whole Phoenix saga, etc. when he's not playing.

As usual, ATL is right.

Let's see if we get the second opinion, what it is, how he reacts, etc.

Their actions will speak.

And I completely understand that, but that's why you have places like this to voice your thoughts and frustrations. Keep the negativity away from the player. Booing him and calling him out won't make his knee magically heal and certainly won't motivate him to try to get back faster and play through pain for people that don't support him. Not saying it's an excuse to wait longer to play games, but it certainly could be a reason.

Why aren't you icing and rubbing Eric's knees in his time of need?

However, I think Gordon deserves criticism. If this was NY or Chicago and he was doing this shite, he would be getting DEMOLISHED way worse than we could ever dish.

people have reason to be frustrated. All the talk and stuff about him not coming back really doesnt bother me.

its more of the conspiracy theories and booing him on opening night. It's just uncalled for.

He gets paid $58 million to play basketball. Sorry we expect a little more than what he's been giving us.

So the player says it but should be shielded from public response. Hell he can say anything then....
Know a way people couldn't tell him? Don't fricking say it on Twitter when they have direct access to you

While I agree with you, the guy has been a complete cock towards the fans since the second he came here. Completely unenthusiastic, the injury, the tweets, this summer...

Personally, I dislike Gordon a great deal. I would never boo him and understand that he is our best chance to win. But I still dislike him. A lot.

you don't need to be a doctor to look at similar injuries and recover times. That, and the fact that our medical staff says THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH HIM.
